Diplocoenia Duncan, 1867, p.21 is a junior synonym (available and invalid), see Diplothecastraea Duncan, 1884, p.115.

This name was later replaced by Diplothecastraea Duncan, 1884 because it is not the same as Diplocoenia Fromentel,1857.
