Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Verified; Unknown

Type Locality: Santonian-Campanian of Slovenia (Stranice).

The holotype of the type species is housed at SAZU (Ljubljana, Slovenia) under St-73.

Classification

Diagnosis

Solitary, ceratoid, circular or flabellate in outline. Costosepta compact, granulated laterally. Columella absent, but septa may extend to the axial region and fuse, forming a pseudo-columella. Wall septothecal. Endothecal dissepiments absent.

  • Central Asia; Late Cretaceous
