Classification
Diagnosis
Phaceloid. Wall epihtecal. Columella styliform. Increase by division without septal connections between centers. Septa thick. Menianes with border thickened and directed upward. Endotheca dissepimental.
Description
Well described and illustrated in Cuif 1975:94-97, pl.12,fig.1-6, with text-fig.13 presenting septal microstructure.
Comparisons
The taxon is easily identifiable. From all known phaceloid corals differs in having styliform columella and thick septa with thick menianes.
