Type Specimen: Lectotype; ; Not Traced; Unknown

Type Locality: Upper Santonian of France (Les Corbiere, Aude)

Lectotype designation by inference by Alloiteau (1941). The lectotype of the type species is probably housed at MNHN (Paris) in the Michelin collection.
