adtrabecular bars

Summary

a characteristic structure of Thamnasteria consisting of a vertically continuous, longitudinal interseptal structure on septal faces, having a fibrous microstructure. They are attached to, and follow the course of, particular septal trabeculae. Adtrabecular bars of one septum meet the next laterally adjacent septum with a suture, and peripherally form a false corallite wall.
