tabular floors

Summary

the upper (most distal) surface of a tabula. 'Floor' refers indirectly to the polyp and the calice, since the uppermost surfaces of tabulae, dissepiments and tabellae, together, as applicable, form successive supporting 'floors' for the living polyp as it grows upward.
