Type Locality: Oxfordian-Kimmeridgian (upper Jurassic) of the northern slope of the Rumija mountain (Montenegro)
The type-specimen, a holotype by monotypy, was searched in Paris without success.
Description
Massive subthamnasterioid corallum. Intra and extracalicular increase without series or with very short series. Radial elements, mostly biseptal sheets, straight, curved or wavy, never anastomosed (?), subcompact, thick, varicose in transverse section. Distal edge with sharp but eroded teeth, lateral faces with vertical carinae. Microstructure unknown. Radial and bilateral symmetry. Endotheca of numerous horizontal convex dissepiments, wide deep fossa, no columella, no palus, synapticulae present but rare, no wall.
Remarks
Only one specimen described.
