Diagnosis

Radial elements are subcompact free or anastomosed finely ornamented biseptal blades. In transverse sections, radial elements show small not aligned "centers of calcification" (dCRA) isolated or grouped in small clusters and surrounded by laminated thickening deposits. Centers are around 25 _m in diameter and are separated from each other from 0 to 200 _m. Endotheca and synapticules present. Septothecal wall.
