Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Verified; Unknown

Type Locality: Cretaceous (?Barremian-Lower Aptian) of Serbia (Skuvja, eastern Serbia).

The holotype of the type species is housed at MNS (Beograd) under M2792.

Classification

Diagnosis

Colonial, massive, thamnasterioid-submeandroid. Gemmation intracalicinal. Septa confluent, arranged in pairs, strongly perforated, connected by numerous synapticulae, laterally ornamented by thorn-like granulae, pennulae and menianes. Calicular pit well developed with dense parietal columella. Endothecal dissepiments vesicular and blistered, giving the skeleton a vermiculate appearance. No wall between the corallites.
