Type Specimen: Unknown; IPB unknown; Not Traced; Unknown

Type Locality: Cenomanian of Germany (Essen Greensand, North-Rhine Westphalia)

The type material is presumably housed at the IPB (Bonn) but repeated attemps to trace the specimens have failed.

Diagnosis

Solitary, cupolate, free. small, up to 15 mm in diameter. Septa perforate. Septal margins nearly vertical peripherally, finely granulated laterally. Wall synapticulothecal.

Remarks

Baron-Szabo (2008, p. 147) provided an extensive discussion on the genus Micrabacia.
