Type Specimen: Neotype; 6700; Verified; Unknown

Type Locality: Cenomanian of France (Mans).

The neotype of the type species is housed at MNHN (Paris) under 6700, d'Orbigny collection.

Synonyms

Diagnosis

Solitary, turbinate to subcylindrical, fixed or free. Costosepta compact, nearly smooth laterally. Columella lamellar, thin, deep in calice. Endothecal dissepiments sparse. Wall septothecal.

Remarks

Affinities. Similar to Stephanosmilia but pali or paliform lobes absent.
