Type Locality: Late Miocene: Rio Mao, Dominican Republic

Type species best described by Cairns and Wells (1987).

Classification

Diagnosis

Like Caryophyllia, but with a compressed corallum and a lamellar columella.

Remarks

Three fossil species.
