Type Locality: Recent: Indonesia, 411-487 m.

Type species best described by Cairns and Zibrowius (1997). 25 syntypes.

Classification

Diagnosis

Corallum solitary but usually profusely attached to one another in a bushy formation; coralla ceratoid to subcylindrical; base polycyclic; thick theca and often covered with epitheca; transverse dissepiments sometimes present; pali before first three septal cycles; columella papillose.
