Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Verified; Unknown

Type Locality: Lower Aptian of Romania (eastern Carpathians).

The holotype of the type species is housed at UJ (Krakow) under 124 P 165.

Classification

Diagnosis

Colonial, massive, hydnophoroid. Gemmation circumoral and intracalicinal-terminal. Calices more or less indistinct. Calicinal series wavy, long, continuous. Collines tholiform, short, isolated between the calicinal series. Ambulacrae present. Septa perforated, confluent to subconfluent, pennular laterally. Trabecular lobes present. Columella parietal, feebly developed. Synapticulae abundant. Endothecal dissepiments vesicular or horizontal. Wall synapticulothecal.
