Type Locality: Hammerkogel, Northern Calcareous Alps; Zlambachschichten, Rhaetian, Late Triassic

Remarks

In addition to the type, Frech 1890:76 described Heptastylopsis ramosa which has all features of the coral genus Eocomoseris Melnikova, Roniewicz and Loeser, 1993:5 from the family Microsolenidae spanning from the Sinemurian through Cenomanian.
