Gyriophyllia Ferry, 1863, p. 217 is a nomen nudum (unavailable and invalid).

Ferry had announced in a session of april 1862 the creation of Gyriophyllia, but in the session of July 1862 he changed to Fromentellia. So the name of Gyriophyllia is just mentionned and published in a footnote of Ferry (1863) in which the author clearly indicated the priority for Fromentellia.
