Type Locality: Oxfordian (Upper Jurassic) of Crimea, near Sudak

Classification

Description

Solitary corallum, distally cylindrical. Radial elements compact rather straight and unequal according to size orders. Distal edge, inner edge, and lateral faces, not described. A major septum may join the columella. In depth other septa may be joined to the columella. Microstructure unknown. Radial symmetry (the holotype is said to be decameral ?), bilateral symmetry marked by the elongation of the lamellar columella. Endotheca made of dissepiments abundant in periphery. Wall made of peripheral edge of septa and by dissepiments.
