Type Species

Type Specimen: Holotype; TUM 59344; Verified; Unknown
Type Locality: Albian to Lower Cenomanian of Japan.
Diagnosis
Colonial, massive, hydnophoroid. Gemmation intracalicinal. Calices in series, bounded by thin discontinuous wall forming short collines. Costosepta compact, sparsely granulated laterally. Columella parietal or absent, if present formed by inner prolongation of septa, arranged parallel to walls. Endothecal dissepiments well-developed, tabulate. Wall septothecal.
Remarks
Like Eugyra but calicinal series reduced to short meandroid-hydnophoroid to hydnophoroid structures.
