Paratype specimen from the Steinplatte, in the form of branching corallum, belongs to the Lobitzer collection, No. GBA 88/99.

Diagnosis
Emended in Roniewicz 1994:11. Flabello-phaceloid; calices elongated, contorted; multiplication by formation of lateral lobes; radial elements costoseptal, subparallel, inner margin T-shaped, lateral septal faces granulated; endotheca of large, tabuloid dissepiments.
Description
Description of the type species was completed by Roniewicz 1994:11,pl.2 with characteristics of the paratype specimen from the Coral Garden at eastern flank of the Plattenkogel in eastern Steinplatte region. The species is figured in Roniewicz 1989: pl. 6: 5a-c and in Roniewicz 1994: pl. 2.
Comparisons
No similar corals are known in the Triassic and Jurassic
Remarks
Emended diagnosis (based on the specimen from the Steinplatte) points to phaceloid, not solitary, growth form and typically flabelloid calices without differentiated centers. Only type species is known
