Type Specimen: Lectotype; NHMUK R 18103; Verified; Dry Preserved

Type Locality: Cornbrash (Bathonian) Le Wast (Boulonnais, France)

The lectotype was selected among two syntypes by L. Beauvais 1970 (abusive designation of a holotype in legend of pl. 1 fig. 1). The lectotype was figured and redescribed there. The paralectotype is R18104

Remarks

Four nominal species cited in Jurassic. The drawing of septal ornamentation by Beauvais 1970 is not confirmed.
