Diagnosis
Corallum solitary, ceratoid to turbinate, attached; septotheca usually costate or transverse ridges; septa in hexameral or decameral symmetry; pali absent; columella fascicular; no endotheca.
Comparisons
Like Caryophyllia but lacking pali.
Remarks
About four fossil species and 12 Recent species. Genus partially revised by Cairns (1991)
