Diagnosis

Colonial. Massive, cerioid, cerio-plocoid. Budding extracalicular. Corallites irregularly polygonal to rounded in outline, directly united by their septothecal or parathecal walls. Costosepta compact. Septal margins finely granulated. Columella styliform, sublamellar, or absent and might form by extensions of axial edges of septa as pseudo-columella. Pali before septa of first cycle complete or incomplete, pali before second cycle septa complete, incomplete or absent. Endothecal dissepiments thin, vesicular or subtabulate. Wall septothecal; thecal pores (lacunes) present or absent.
