Type Locality: Waldgraben near Altaussee, Northern Calcareous Alps. Zlambach Beds, Rhaetian, Late Triassic
The species is also represented in the NHMW collections.
Classification
Diagnosis
Cerioid; corallites prismatic. Increase extracalicular. Bilaminar wall permanent; median fissure present. On the inner wall surface, radial elements form thick ridges with denticles. Endotheca composed of slightly concave tabuloid elements. Wall, septa and dissepiments are in structural continuation. Microstructure fibrous; fibres organized into bundles.

Comparisons
The genus differs from cerioid Stylophyllum in septa developed in the form of ridges on the wall, and in tabular endotheca.
Remarks
Only the type species is known.
Distribution
