Type Locality: Great Oolite (Bathonian, Middle Jurassic) of Hydrequent (Boulonnais, France)
Description
Solitary cylindroid sligthly arched corallum. Elliptical outline. Outer surface rather smooth with horizontal high growth folds and vertical narrow grooves corresponding to septa. Radial elements are compact free thick, robust and swollen septa. Distal edge unknown, inner edge vertical and smooth, lateral faces not ornamented, no pali. Microstructure unknown. Hexameral symmetry. Endotheca made of tabulae , columella absent, synapticulae absent, thick wall of unknown nature (pachytheca ?).
Remarks
Two nominal species known in Jurassic. Rare
