Lophosmilia cenomana de Fromentel, 1862, p. 230, pl. 15, fig. 2, pl. 16, fig. 2; Original Designation Alloiteau, 1952, p. 633, pl. 8, fig. 9.

Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Not Traced; Unknown

Type Locality: Cenomanian of France (Le Mans, Sarthe).

The holotype of the type species is housed at MNHN (Paris) under Mo0311.
