Type Specimen: Lectotype; MNHN MNHN.F.M03501; Verified; Dry Preserved

Type Locality: Cenomanian of France (Le Mans, Sarthe).

Designation of lectotype by inference (Alloiteau, 1957, p. 339, pl. 1, fig. 6). Its former catalogue number was 6697 of the d'Orbigny collection.

Like Micrabacia but also has parathecal developments.
