Type Specimen: Paratype; NHMUK R29040-29043; Verified; Dry Preserved
Type Locality: L. Ranikot, Hangu Shale, Pakistan (Paleogene)
The location of the holotype is unknown; it is not at the Natural History Museum in London but may be in Calcutta. There are four paratypes in the Natural History Museum in London (R29040-29043), which are figured here.
