Type Locality: North of Feisterscharte, Southern Dachstein Plateau, Northern Calcareous Alps, Austria, Early Norian, Late Triassic
Diagnosis
Colony astraeoid. Adults having 4 mm in diameter and ca. 22 septa of three size orders, nonconfluent and fusiform, generally, distributed in hexameral symmetry. Rare, flat pennular structures. Endotheca vesicular. Axial cavity empty. Wall lacking. Budding inercalicular.
Comparisons
There are no comparable forms among Triassic corals described so far.
