Remarks

Invalid name based on the taxon Latomeandra morchella Reuss, 1854 (NHMW 1864/0040/1321; lectotype by inference by Beauvais, 1982, vol. 2, p. 236), from the Upper Santonian of Austria [Gosau Group]). Also see Remarks under Brachyseris Alloiteau, in Hupe and Alloiteau, 1946-47 (grouped with Meandrophyllia). The type material of Latomeandra morchella Reuss, 1854, is considered a species of the genus Thamnoseris de Fromentel, 1861 (Baron-Szabo, 2014, in press).
