Type Locality: Rote Ammonitenkalke (Middle Liassic) from Kramsach (Austria)

A part of the samples are housed at the Bayerische Staatsammlung in München. (Lower Jurassic, Hagau quarries, Kramsach, Tirol, Austria) with the following numbers BSPG 1911 I 501 à 505 , of which: 501: original pl. 20, fig. 7a et 7c 502: original pl. 20, fig. 7b 503: original pl. 20, fig. 7e

Description

Solitary corallum with a thick wall and an epitheca without costae. Subcircular outline. Radial elements are compact free cuneiform unequal septa s.s. Hexameral symmetry. Endotheca present, no columella, no synapticulae.

Comparisons

A comparison with Archaeosmilia should be done.
