Type Locality: Kesselwand-Rohrmoos, vicinity of Gosaukamm range, Nortern Calcarreous Alps. Zlambach Beds, Rhaetian, Late Triassic
Classification
Diagnosis
Solitary. Septa differentiated into 4 size orders; septa of the ultimate order lonsdaleoid; inner septal margin dissociated ino projections which form papillar columella. Dissepiments vesicular. Wall septothecal with addition of fibous-radial stereom of the inner epithecal layer.

Comparisons
In the microstructure of septa Coryphyllina is similar to Coryphyllia, from which it differs in differentiation of thin trabecular mid-septal zone into portions resulting in its division into sub-units, and dissociation of inner margin into rare projections; septal projections form papillar columella.
