Diagnosis

Radial elements are subcompact costosepta or biseptal sheets, frequently anastomosed. Distal edge with a regular dentition made of rounded teeth. The inner edge is characterised by the dissociation of trabeculae leading to a potentially regular porosity in this region of the septum. These dissociated trabecules participate in a parietal columella. The lateral faces are ornamented by true pennulae centered on trabecular axes. Pennular edges are directed upwards and ornamented with rounded equal dentation. Distance between centers of trabeculae around 200-500 _m. Septal radial symmetry often disturbed by increase and difficult to decipher in term of hexameral symmetry. When present the wall is a synapticulotheca or a (?) septotheca. Synapticules present but scarce. Vesicular dissepiments abundant.
