Diagnosis

Radial elements are septa stricto sensu, nearly smooth, septal faces, inner and distal edge not (or very few) ornamented, mostly attenuated (not in the glossary !) arranged in radio-bilateral symmetry. A unique major (term not in strict agreement with the glossary) septum = axial septum which characterizes the dorso-ventral plan. The wall was described as an "archeotheca" made of two layers, a lamellar inner layer and a fibrous outer layer. Its transverse section shows external concavities or invaginations corresponding to septa.
