Type Locality: Upper Albian to Cenomanian of Egypt (Halal Formation).
Classification
Comparisons
Like Meandrastrea d'Orbigny but costae reduced and parietal columella less variable in shape (only parietal-spongy). In Meandrastrea, costae are more distincly developed and the columella is parietal-spongy but also lamellar in some corallites.
