Initially placed in the Faviidae by Beauvais 1970, but it is hardly compatible with the presence of pennules.

Type Locality: « Calcaire corniche » Bajocian, probably Subfurcatum zone (Middle Jurassic) from Jbel Richa (Morocco)
The type-material is silicified. Two paratypes are known (A32870)
Classification
Description
Massive cerioid corallum with polygonal infundibuliform corallites. Intracalicular (?) increase. Radial elements are compact, non or subconfluent septa. Distal edge with teeth unequal in size and shape, lateral faces with menianae deeping toward the center. Microstructure unknown. Radial and bilateral symmetry. Endotheca not very abundant, styliform columella more or less flattened, no synapticulae, septothecal wall more or less in zigzag.
