Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Not Traced; Unknown

Type Locality: Eocene (Lutetian) of Italy (San Giovanni, Venezia).

The holotype of the type species is housed at GBA (Vienna) under 1874/003/0017.

Comparisons

Like Cladangia but has a columella that is formed by a single tubercle as in Rhizangia.

Remarks

The genus Styliangia Reuss, 1874, represents a junior homonym of Stylangia de Fromentel, 1867.
