Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Not Traced; Unknown

Type Locality: Santonian of France (Les Corbieres, Aude).

The holotype of the type species is housed at MNHN (Paris) under R.10966.

Classification

Remarks

Study of the type material of Pseudoseris Alloiteau revealed that it shows agariciid structures with additional skeletal characteristics that very closely correspond to the genus Cyathoseris. Therefore, their synonmy was suggested by Baron-Szabo (2002, p. 117, pl. 82, fig. 5).
