Type Specimen: Holotype; ; Not Traced; Unknown
Type Locality: Aptian to Lower Albian of Japan (Hiraiga sandstone).
The holotype of the type species is housed at TUM (Sendai) under 65491.
Classification
Comparisons
Like Bantamia Yabe and Eguchi, 1943, but has corallites that are embedded in a Palaeohelia-like coenenchyme.
Remarks
The genus Pseudoagatheria Eguchi (1951) shows all characteristics of Bantamia Yabe and Eguchi, 1943, but has corallites that are embedded in a coenenchyme that resembles the kind in the genus Palaeohelia Alloiteau, 1958.
