Type Locality: Upper Campanian to Maastrichtian of Algeria (Wilaya, Tamanrasset).
The type material of the type species is housed at MNHN (Paris).
Classification
Comparisons
Like Keriophyllia but has intracalicinal budding.
Remarks
In the original documention of the type material by Alloiteau (1953), the existence of lonsdaloid septa can be seen on the photograph on plate 29, fig. 1. In combination with all other characteristics of the type material (except for the budding type), Pseudaulina Alloiteau shows close resemblance to Keriophyllia.
