Type Locality: Lower Turonian of the Czech Republic (Bohemia).

The holotype of the type species is housed at MNHP (Prague) under O 3077.

Diagnosis

Colonial, massive, submeandroid-plocoid. Gemmation intracalicinal. Corallites isolated or arranged in short series, with distinct or subdistinct calicinal centres. Ambulacrae large and flat. Costosepta compact, granulated laterally. Columella lamellar, discontinuous. Endothecal dissepiments thin, vesicular. Exothecal dissepiments numerous, vesicular. Wall septoparathecal.
