Attemps to trace the type material have been unsuccessful.
Remarks
Based on the only description ever provided for this genus (Alloiteau, 1952, p. 644), it remains unclear how this taxon differs from genera like e.g. Trochocyathus, Stylocyathus, Stephanosmilia, and others. Therefore, Phyllotrochus is unrecognizable.
