Parastraeomorpha minuscula Roniewicz, 1989:98; Original Designation Roniewicz, 1989:98
Type Specimen: Holotype; NHMW 1982/57/17; Verified; Dry Preserved
Type Locality: Northern Calcareous Alps, Fischerwiese. Zlambach Beds, Rhaetian, Late Triassic.
In the NHMW collection, beside the holotype, specimens from Fischerwiese and from Sommeraukogel are present.
Classification
Diagnosis
Thamnasterioid. Septa laminar, thin-trabecular. Columella styliform. Septal faces smooth or with rudimentary pennular expansions. Synapticulae large, independent of other structures. Dissepiments thin, rare.

Comparisons
Parastraeomorpha, in general morphology similar to Astraeomorpha Reuss, differs from it in a lack of menianes and in development of synapticulae dominating over other horizontal skeletal structures.
Remarks
Two species are known.
