Type species best described by Cairns (1994).
Classification
Diagnosis
Corallum solitary, discoidal, firmly attached; no thecal wall; pali present before third septal cycle; axial edges of septa sinuous; columella fascicular; dissepiments lacking.
Remarks
Only one Recent species, known from only one specimen from the type locality. This may be a juvenile specimen of a different genus or a specimen transported from a different geographic region (Cairns, 1994).
