Mesomorpha
Pratz, 1882-1883, p. 114
Mesomorpha Pratz, 1882-1883, p. 114 is a junior homonym (unavailable), see Ahrdorffia Trauth, 1911, p. 171 (the replacement taxon).
The genus Mesomorpha Pratz, 1882-1883, p. 114, represents a junior homonym of the genus Mesomorpha Hodgson, 1841 (bird). Because Ahrdoffia Trauth, 1911, is con-generic with Pratz's genus, it is used as the replacement taxon.

Remarks
Loser (2013, p, 18) stated that the type material of the type species of Mesomorpha Pratz was lost. This statement, however, is incorrect as there is type material in the Reuss collection housed at the Geological Survey Vienna (GBA), Austria (verification of material data by Irene Zorn, GBA, in 2009 and 2013).
