Diagnosis

Colonial, massive, meandroid. Gemmation intracalicinal. Corallite centres distinct, arranged in meandroid series, separated by tectiform and tholiform collines. Costosepta compact, confluent or nonconfluent, dentate, sometimes forming vertical carines. Columella parietal, spongy, lamellar in some corallites. Wall parathecal. Septothecal thickenings absent or rarely present. Endothecal dissepiments numerous, vesicular.
