Description

Type specimen was described and illustrated in Beauvais 1964:163-164, pl.16,fig.9.

Comparisons

A rather general characteristics of the taxon and merely discernible features of the specimen, show some features common with well characterized Thecomeandra Eliasova 1973:71, text-fig.1;pl.1-4 from the Tithonian of the Catrpathians. A revision of the type of the Goldfuss species is needed. Any comparison to Triassic Margarastraea Volz, discussed in Beauvais 1964, has no support from the point of view of septal microstructure.
