Classification
Diagnosis
Corallum colonial, corallites budding from a common basal coenosteum; septa in a Pourtalès plan.
Comparisons
Close to Cladopsammia but may in fact be solitary and thus closer to Balanophyllia.
Remarks
Considered to be a dendrophylliid genus of uncertain position by Cairns (2001, p. 37) since the characteristics of the type species does not allow proper characterization. Two species, both fossil.
