Type Locality: Recent: Strait of Florida, 128-269 m.

49 syntypes. Type species best described by Cairns (1979)

Diagnosis

Corallum solitary, turbinate to trochoid, free (usually the result of parricidal budding from a wedge of parent corallum; elongate delicate multiple paliform lobes on septa of all but last cycle; columella trabecular.

Remarks

One fossil and three Recent species.
