Type Specimen: Holotype; NHMUK 1862.2.4.49; Verified; Dry Preserved

Type Locality: Fiji (Recent)

Wells (1964) indicates that 1862.2.4.49 is the holotype on p.381, but also mentions 55.12.7.157 as being Brüggemann's type on p.380.
